Condition Guidelines
The condition of refurbished and pre-owned UPS units can vary depending on previous use, age, battery condition and installation environment, so we aim to provide clear and accurate information to help you make an informed decision.
Please read the product title, description and photographs carefully before purchasing. Any known faults, defects, battery issues, missing parts, damage, limitations or other important condition information will be stated in the listing where identified.
Wherever possible, we include multiple photographs and highlight any noticeable marks, scratches, dents, casing damage, damaged sockets, missing covers, broken buttons or other defects. The photographs form an important part of the product description and should be reviewed carefully before purchase.
Refurbished and pre-owned UPS units may show signs of previous rack or floor installation, including marks, scratches, scuffs, rack wear, label residue, minor dents, wear around sockets, buttons, displays or mounting points, and other cosmetic imperfections.
Any known issues affecting power output, charging, batteries, alarms, displays, buttons, fans, sockets, network or management interfaces, bypass functions or general operation will be clearly stated in the product description where identified.
Battery Condition
Please check the product description carefully for information regarding the batteries supplied with the UPS. Battery age, capacity and remaining runtime can vary significantly between units. Unless a specific runtime or battery health figure is stated, no particular battery runtime should be assumed.
Where batteries are not included, require replacement, or have reduced capacity, this will be stated in the product description where identified.
Please do not assume that batteries, rack rails, rack ears, network management cards, power cables, output leads, mounting hardware or other accessories are included unless they are shown in the photographs or specifically stated in the product description.
Where the item shown is not the exact unit you will receive, the supplied UPS will be the same model or advertised specification and in the same or a very similar overall condition unless otherwise stated.
Please ensure that the exact model number, product description, battery information, specifications and photographs have been checked carefully before purchasing, as any known faults, battery limitations, missing components or other issues will be stated there where identified.

Guarantee
This device comes with a 6 month hardware & parts guarantee as standard. This covers all mechanical & hardware failures which are not user inflicted. Software, including without limitation, the operating system and software or the reloading of software problems that result, directly or indirectly, from external causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power. Servicing not authorised by Chaps IT Recycling Limited.
Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions. Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance.
Using accessories, parts or components not supplied by Chaps IT Recycling LTD. Commercial hardware products that use, or in which have been installed, products or components that have not been provided by Chaps IT Recycling LTD. Products with missing or altered service tags or serial numbers.
Due to fraudulent activity all serial numbers are recorded and hidden security markings are added to all our devices.
If the 30 day returns period has passed from the date of delivery & the fault cannot be replicated the item may be returned with no refund.

Delivery & Returns
Orders placed before 1PM will be dispatched the same day via next day fully insured delivery. On rare occasions we also may be able to ship your order after 1PM. If the item is urgently required for next day & purchased after 1pm, please enquire before purchasing.
All services are fully tracked to avoid fraudulent activity or claims.
If you are located in the Scottish Highlands, isle of man, Northern Ireland or remote UK areas an additional surcharge will be applied during checkout. A slightly slower service may also be used if next day is not available. Please enquire before purchasing if this is an issue.
All our devices come with a 30 day return guarantee. This means that if you are unhappy with your item or it didn't meet your expectations you can send the item back to us and we will give you a full refund.
Due to an increase in fraudulent activity items must be returned in the original condition in which they were received with all originally included accessories. All parts are recorded & security markings added to ensure no fraudulent activity is carried out on the item. Return postage must also be covered by the buyer.
